Rear Wiper Motor Replacement
#1
Hi all

Not been on for some time. Just had my Berlingo 2008 MPV Multispace back from garage

MOT passed fine yet the rear wiper blade motor has apparently burned out and needs replacing

I am being quoted £245 for parts and labour - does this seem right or is it a simple job to buy the part myself and attempt the work personally. I have no experience as a car mechanic  Big Grin

Bloody Nora , thats a lot of money for a wiper motor. Why dont you buy one and fit it yourself , they're very simple to do . I bought mine on ebay , cant remember how much i paid but it wasnt much . All youve got to do is to remove the door card and the plastic backing and there it is .  You dont need to be a mechanic to change one of these , you should have it done inside an hour if you stop for a cup of tea half way through !
