Oil filter
#1
I have a 2018 berlingo , old shape
I’ve just picked up some oil 0-30 and a filter
The filter is different from what’s already in the van
It’s made by crosland item no 501 54 5198
The one in the van has a completely open middle section
And the new has a recessed cap in the top with two 8mm holes
In it, this appears restrictive
Anyway I had a filter from my nemo in the shed which appears the same as
The one already installed , I fitted this but the 0 ring leaks
I’ve ordered a Bosch filter from a different supplier to compare
I’ve searched other outlets and the crosland comes up as the correct part

Take your Reg / Vin / Engine Number to your local Motor Factors and ask them for a filter is probably your best option, they will supply to the local motor trade and as such will be " on it " so will be able to advise unless of course you have a Main Dealer close by.

I think that's a Euro Car Parts number?

A local motor factor might be the best bet, or perhaps Car Parts In Motion?

Popped into a parts shop today and purchased a Bosch one using
My Reg , it’s the same as the one originally in the van
Also the same as the nemo one I had in the shed
But with a different O ring , lesson learnt
I’m shocked Halfords and euro spares appear to be selling the wrong filter

For future ref, go to Mann filters and give your car details or VIN.

https://catalog.mann-filter.com/EU/eng

They will list all of the correct filters for your car

PSA part number for BlueHdi Euro 6 engines is 1610693780, different from older Euro 5 and 4 engines.
