Hello.
In my 2003 Berlingo, the CLSystem at the tailgate doesn't work right. Sometimes it locks, sometimes not, but still makes a noise. For me that means that everything has to fit with the cables, because the information from my car key reaches the CLSystem servomotor.
Once I took off the cover and looked at the whole thing, I had to find out that the servomotor tried to lock and also moved a little, but then it didn't do anything. He makes a short "click" noise.
I think that this is defective and should be replaced.
Since I did the whole thing in the rain, I also have to find that water drips into the handle (opener) of the tailgate, and not that little. So a drop falls every second. I then looked to see if there was any water accumulation, but that should drain somewhere. Could it be that the water is to blame for the damage to the CLSystem servomotor?
Here the servomotor:
Here with a red amrk, so you see the water:
Should I seal this or is it normal for a minimal amount of water to enter here?
This is not the only place where water enters. I discovered water today in my hinged window / tilt window.
There is also a posting: https://www.berlingoforum.com/thread-21280.html
Thanks for your help and sharing your experiences.
Best regards,
