Tyre 205/60 R16

Still got the tyres from new on van they are Michelin on there at the moment 205/60 R16 96H Michelin energy saver + not had any problems good tyres but nobody stocks them

Any ideas

I've never had an issue getting them from Kwik Fit - might need to order them in though

Hi,
I had to replace a tyre on the Combo Life.

I picked up one of these from camskill

Fronway (Chinese brand) are budgetbrand for the UK market but considered a decent brand in China.
Anyway this is an XL load tyre and the tyre walls are thick (I normally avoid budget tyres as the walls are skinny).
Had it installed and no issues, brakes fine.

For the price it is brilliant value for money.

Wanted to add, I wouldn’t get caught up too much between the EU ratings.

For example, the difference between B efficiency and D efficiency fuel economy rating is minimal.

The tyre guy in Costco told me the only 2 things to concern yourself with that really matter are the tyre wall thickness and wet rating.
He said anything rated in the wet at E or lower is to be avoided in the UK.
The fuel economy rating barely makes any difference regardless how high or low the tyre is rated.
Likewise noise ratings anything 80Db or above is to be avoided, anything lower will be similar.p and indistinguishable.
