Has anyone fitted a tuning box to a 2.0Hdi with Siemens injection system.
Are they worth the money, do you actually get any gains in low down torque, or is it all just cobblers?

I had one on mine, in fact it's still in the garage.
They do make a difference and if you don't want to go for a remap then they are a way to gain some more "driveability"

Don't think you can do anything with a Siemens injection system by using a "magic box", think the ECU has to be re-chipped....

It's just out of the garage after having a service!
Yes, I have the Siemens and I have a Tunit VCR box, which I used prior to the remap.
They work by altering the signal sent by the (I think) fuel rail pressure sensor to the ECU which then increases the amount of fuel delivered. It's simply a case oof unplugging one connector and plugging the box into the two ends.

2.0 HDi Tunit VCR box is £489!
Is it worth it for the small increase in bhp and torque?
Unless Coco wants to sell his?
