Can you get android auto turn guidance on headup display

When I use TomTom satnav guidance turn indicators appear on the headup display. But when using Android Auto no similar guidance appeared. Does anyone know if Android Auto can do the same with some sort of settings?

Probably not because its not integral to the ECU of the vehicle like the built in SATNAV - it certainly doesn't work with CarPlay

Thanks perhaps new firmware in the future can integrate it.
