Hi Mike,
Its an additive in a small tank or bag under your van that's injected into the fuel tank each time it detects the fuel cap was opened.
It makes the fuel more combustable for when a dfp is doing its regeneration to burn off the soot contained in it.
I wouldn't be sure if your 2010 has a dpf or not, but my 2015 non adblue has a dpf and the tank on my one is under the van located near the rear drivers side wheel. It holds 2 litres of the additive and I had to reset the counters in the ECU when I refilled it to get rid of the on screen warning. If you do have a dpf and it runs out- if not replaced the dpf will clog up and engine will go in to limp mode.
