Thinking of getting a new berlingo
#1
Hi. I'm thinking of getting a new berlingo on motability.  It will be the auto petrol 7 seat version can any of you tell me about real world fuel consumption. The jargon I read all has it as around 43mpg but realise this is factory tested. Any help you guys could give me so I can make a decision would be much appreciated thanks

My vehicle is as below. I've had it for the past 2 1/2 weeks and covered 742 miles at 56.3 mpg mixed driving with 360 odd miles towing a light highsided trailer. I finished a 5 1/2 hour towing drive Exeter to London.and felt pretty relaxed.Good seating position, smooth ride, and not so much cabin noise. Personally I'd choose reactive cruise control. Normal cruise control doesn't slow you down going down hill and I was surprised how quickly it picked up speed. You might think about hill descent control if you live in steep area. Make sure you get one with an opening tailgate window or you will regret it. Modutop gives a pleasantly light cabin. Can't say much about reliabilty. Enjoyable relaxed motoring so far if you like strolling along within speed limits.
