Diesel Power Sport 4. Help required please.
#1
A neighbour of mine has given me some Diesel Power Sport 4 ( Millers Oils ). It helped improve the running of his Talbort motorhome which he has since sold.

Thinking about trying some in the Berlingo van. Anyone used this before?

If I were to put 10 litres of diesel in my van, how much of this additive would I need, it says use in a ratio of 1000:1 but I am getting brain freeze. 1 litre of diesel is equivalent to 1000 millilitres, therefore if I put 10 litres of diesel into my tank thats 10,000 millilitres, so I would need 10 millilitres of additive. Have I worked that out correctly Confused

Many thanks

Yes, 10ml in 10L diesel is correct. That must be some concentrated thing.

Thank you very much saskak for your reply and the confirmation of my mathematics Wink

I too thought the dosage meant it was probably heavily concentrated hence the query, also to get opinions on the product. As mentioned previously my neighbour used it in his Talbot Express campervan. With such small dosages no wonder there is still over half a can left. Still it ought to be decent stuff judging by the expensive price tag.

No worries, but I would be a bit wary of how old the liquid is. The active chemical components inside will degrade with time, it is just inevitable. It might have lost its active components, but I have no experience with this particular one, so I might be just talking out of my back.
