Radio Problem

Hello, I have a citroen berlingo enterprise 2016 plate.
Today the radio kept restarting itself every 10 minutes or so. completely shuts off and restarts with the citroen icon etc. Could it be something to do with having bluetooth enabled on my iphone ? If not any ideas at all. Thank you.

2016 Berlingo Blue hdi - I've had the same problem for months, it seems to have been cured by a dealer software update which was done last week. Fairly common problem I think.

PS just been told it will cost £99 for a diagnostic to tell me if it is the update. I suppose this is the only way to go ?

I've just made a new post regarding a goodwill warranty claim, have a look.

Dealers generally quote an hours labour to update software = £100.00 I'm not sure if this is covered for free during a service or not as I don't use main dealers. It's a bit expensive but I don't know if there's anything else you can do. It's a really annoying issue and an obvious software bug on the earlier versions. It seem to be a really common problem.

Hello RafM Today I did not have my phone on blue tooth and I have not had the problem. I am going out again shortly and this time I will have the blue tooth enabled on my phone and see it it still has the same problem .

This has been a regular issue on my 2015 xtr ,the rebooting was infuriating , was advised to try disconnecting the battery to reset the system by a dealer "technician" . i stopped using DAB and have had little or no issues .A bit extreme loosing out on DAB but gained from the hassle . No great loss as the reception is bad on DAB where i live , may add i exchanged the stubby aerial for a longer type and works better .
