Oil Leak

    My 2015 1.6 BlueHDi 100 has a severe oil leak from the side of the engine at the gearbox end. Oil is running down from behind the water /  thermostat housing that bolts to the end of the cylinder head. Surely oil doesn't go through this housing? There is no oil above it so I don't think its the rocker cover gasket. Very difficult to see anything with so many pipes and wires in the way. I pointed a camera in the general area and got a good picture of oil running down from behind the water housing. The oil leak is bad and will fail; the MOT in 3 weeks time so I need to urgently get it fixed. Has anyone got any ideas? Thanks

Thanks. I hope not as that will be very expensive to get it replaced. 
The engine runs perfectly so could oil be leaking out of the head gasket even though none of the cylinders appears to be leaking?

I'm not familiar with this engine but it could leak oil but be otherwise OK if there is an oil feed or return that end. More likely a feed as it would be under pressure.

Thanks. I think the car will have to go to a garage as the latest engines are far to complicated and crowded to do much at home. My old 1.9D Berlingo plus previous 2 Peugeots with the same 1.9D engine were a doddle to work on. The engine was very basic with no clutter around it and enough room to walk around inside the bonnet!
