Hello,
Had my 65 reg 1.6 Multispace serviced and MOT'ed 3 weeks ago by Arnold Clark including air and diesel filters.
Suddenly yesterday warning lamp and alarm come on. Nothing specific, just Engine Fault. Made it to Arnold Clark where they said it might be caused by non-Citroen fuel filter they installed, which was nonetheless supposed to be OK. They said it was safe to drive until they can get a Citroen filter in and fit it. Five minutes after leaving, the full STOP lamp came on with the message to pull over where safe and not drive the car. Called dealer and they said not a lot they can do as it was late on Friday afternoon and they hadn't been able to read actual fault from computer. They said I now need to take it to an actual Citroen dealer to read the fault which will require me getting it transported there and won't happen until next week.
No symptoms except for warning messages. I did a quick check of the fluid levels that I could, all OK. Any ideas on what this could be?
Thanks!
