Looks like Android Auto will be killed off with the next the update to phone operating systems, Android version 12.
So what comes next and will it work on my K9 Navi?

Noooo, Android Auto for phone screens will be killed off, only car screen support remains.

That's the same exact thing I mentioned. There's Android auto app that has been available for phone screens as well. This is the part that will be discontinued. AA app mirroring will remain.

Older phones will continue to use Android Auto so it's just not being included in 12 or over.
So where does this bit go then ?
