Haven't been well!
#1
As most have you will have noticed I haven't been my usual talkative self recently.
(Stop that cheering at the back!! )
Nothing anyone can put a finger on (or indeed up  )
But my BP was measured at 214/110 which is a tad on the high side!
So as I have a prosthetic heart valve I've been taking things a little carefully.

Sorry to hear you've been out of sorts. That BP is an eyebrow raiser for sure. What kind of prosthetic valve do you have? Porcine or otherwise. Hope you get sorted out soon and best wishes.

I had the valve fitted(?) installed(?)in Jan 2006. They said I was too young (& good looking)
for a porcine valve as these tend to last less than 20 years.
So in went a stainless steel one.
I self-check my BP every few days and it's sitting at 156/94 atm, so much better.
But anything can happen with the drug cocktail I'm on!
Thanks for your good wishes though. Confusedalut::thumbsup:

Glad to hear the BP is getting down. Hadn't heard about SS valves. My dad had had some pig valves installed and they worked a treat.

Was only thinking just yesterday you weren't around as much as usual (typical...), hope it wasn't Berlingo induced pressure on your heart.

Glad to hear things are on the way back to normality, take it easy.
