What does this warning mean?
#1
This came up on my central information screen:

"AddBlu will be impossible to add in 1700 kms"

Impossible to add - Is this for real?- should I do something now?

Don't know about that warning. Normally you just get a message saying car will not be drivable after x KM unless Adblue is topped up.

Has happened twice to me - about every 4,500 miles or so. Refilled tank each time with 10 Litres bought from Halfords.

My sisters is showing the same warning currently (2019 model) I think that means the tank will be empty rather than it will be impossible to top up

A silly question perhaps - can the adblue tank be topped up before the message is first displayed?  (B9 XTR not the B9 Van as that has the pouch system)
B9 (2016) 1.6 BlueHDi 100 Multispace XTR = Mine;   B9 (2013) Enterprise 1.6 HDi Van = Hers.

No not silly question. I've never had an adblu diesel before so I have absolutely no idea and would like to know the answer. Question well put

Recorded the dash message in the above, as far as I can work out it will run fine all the way to zero, but will either go limp to get you home or if engine is stopped whilst empty, will not start.

Halfords £10 10ltr at min and if it is empty you will get it all in
