My B9 multispace does not register the drivers door opening and shutting, as a result the car auto locks it self once I get in if I don't start it quick enough, the interior light doesn't come on if I open the drivers door once I'm in it, I get no warning in the centre display if the door is open and I get no "left the lights on " buzzer if I leave the lights on and leave the car.
Am I right to think it's a switch ? Does anyone know where the switch is located, is it adjustable like in the old days ?
Any information most welcome,
Mark

I run with my sidelights on all the time and sometimes I get the "side lights on" buzzer but not always. Why it should buzz now and again I dont know. If it does buzz I switch the ignition back on and off without switching off the sidelights and the buzz stops.
The interior light switch is I think in the actual door lock not a push switch on the door jamb.
It may be the wires from the lock to the inside are broken where they come from the door to the inside or the lock itself is getting worn and the switch is kaput.
