Turning off rear interior light when doors open
#1
Hi. I have had a 62 plate Nemo for a few months. I cannot work out how to stop the rear interior ceiling light from turning on when the doors are open.

The light does go off when the engine starts or when the car is locked (although not when the boot is left open, even for more than 15 minutes), but I cannot find a way to turn it off permanently. I'm quite sure it didn't come on when I first bought it, but now does, so I'm wondering if I've changed a setting somewhere! I've tried every combination of switches I can think of.

I use the Nemo for camping and want to able to have the boot and/or doors open for extended periods without the light coming on.

The manual says:

"Rear courtesy lamp:
This is located on the upper part of the rear right side.
Press the side of the courtesy lamp lens to switch it on or off.
It comes on automatically when a door is opened.

Good practice:
It switches off automatically:
-if the switch is not pressed down.
-in all cases within approximately 15 mins if the doors remain open.
- when the ignition is switched on.
- when the vehicle is locked.

The manual doesn't seem to mention any way to stop the light coming on when the doors are opened. But as I'm pretty sure it didn't when I first got it!

Any ideas much appreciated!
