Adblu how much is too much?
#1
Car has just completed 1800 miles and guzzled 9.5 litres of adblu.

Is this normal?

I assumed the dealer would have supplied the car with a full tank of Adblu. You could be right. Maybe it didn't.

One thing that concerned my is do these tanks suffer leaks easily?

That tank wasn't full to start with - mine certainly wasn't from new.

Its the same with Aircon - the car builder will only put in enough gas to give the system enough pressure to work

I got about 4500 miles from new before I had to fill it, and again roughly the same distance before I had to fill it again.

I bought my van from new, don't know how full the adblu was from the dealer, but I got about 6,000 miles before I had to fill it. I put in 10 litres, and got another 6,000 miles before I had to fill it again. Apparently the type of driving done will affect adblu consumption - mine is mostly quite hilly rural roads.
