Online (Google Maps, Waze) navigation on the car screen is superior to phone. Also the voice command button on the steering wheel to excite Google Assistant/Siri is superb.

Voice command works without carplay. I had it in my B9. It was good I have to agree.

I use a magnetic connector so no pushing and pulling a cable into the phone every drive for me. It allows that any devices mini-usb, micro-usb, usb-c, lightning can all charge/communicate when they have the appropriate magnetic connector in their charge/data port. As a plus the magnetic connector acts as a dust cover for the port on the devices.
