Problems after flat battery
#1
Hi guys hoping for some help from you berlingo experts out there.
The cars been of the road for a while and I went to start it to find the battery was flat but on turning the key the wipers started to move despite them not being switched on???
Jump started from another car and started no problem, but noticed the drivers window will not move. I have checked the switch on passenger side wiring and it’s ok, I can’t see any broken wires in the door to body trunking. The motor has 5 pins and don’t know which pins are the live/ground to test the motor, so could do with some advice here. Also just noticed fuel gauge has not moved when I put a gallon in from a can also the mileage to fill has not changed.

I have been reading a little and the bsi reset comes up as a fix, do you think a Body control module reset will have any affect these problems or should I be looking somewhere else?

Thanks in advance.

Do a BSI reset before you start delving further, make sure everything is switched off before you start and have the drivers window open.
Are we there yet????? Huh

Before anything else you should begin with a fully charged battery otherwise any BSI reset may prove to be a worthless exercise.
