Multi function display colour
#1
I swiped my M59 multi-function display from a Citroën C5 but would prefer it to be orange, as with the dials. Any idea which model Peugeot/Citroën had an orange MFD?

I did the same, bought a C5 green display and converted it to the orange as I like the orange more than the green one. You would need the cheapest Peugeot/Citroen 3-line orange display. The LCD of the orange 3-line PSA displays all fade. Then you need to swap the polarizing filter for the C5 and it will turn to orange. Here is how I did it: https://www.berlingoforum.com/thread-7997.html

I actually preferred the green C5 display on my Berlingo, but it was sold with the car, as it did not fit the B9 that I bought after.

Yes, they are all interchangeable without much of a problem.

There are some pictures of the connector plugs somewhere on here and also quite a long thread about part numbers, but as Saskak says they are all pretty much interchangeable so long as you get one with the buttons that are used on the M59 for changing the settings. Most people that change them have upgraded from the 2 line to the 3 line display for the Trip Computer function.

Thanks cancunia. I forgot to mention that they are interchangeable, as long as the plug has the same number of pins. If memory serves correct, 12 pins for the M59. If the plug is the same then it will work.

The Citroen C3 up to 2008 also uses the orange display.
Also I found the C3 display to be sharper and it doesnt have the known fading issues.
