HDi Misfire/hesitation

Hi all,

I've noticed that my 2004 2.0 HDi doesn't like being driven below 2000rpm. If you're cruising along in fifth, for instance, and let it drop below 2000, there's a jerkiness and hesitation unless you drop it down a gear so the needle goes above 2000rpm.

Any ideas? Much appreciated!

There I go again at the 2.0HDi, probably I should not comment on anything 2.0HDi-related. Nevertheless, I have something similar in the 1.6HDi and it might pertain to the 2.0HDi, take it with a pinch of salt.
My 1.6HDi has jerkiness, vibration at ~1,500rpm, all gears. Finally (I think) I managed to trace it to a somewhat blocked injector. With a decent injector cleaner (so far out of my tests Wynn's seems to be working) it completely disappeared.
I would suggest to buy say Wynn's diesel injector cleaner, get the tank nearly empty, put the injector cleaner + 20L of fuel inside and drive as usual and see if this helps. It is worth the £4-5 for one bottle.
