I replaced my 2-line with a 3-line awhile ago and could not quite remember, but the colours seem inverted on yours. AFAIR, the digits should be red/orange rather than black in the original 2-line M59 MFD. Was the colour scheme in your original one like the replacement? AFAIR there was an option in Lexia to invert the colours and it might have something to do with the backlight or there was an option for the backlight or as well as inverted colours the backlight is also reversed. I was playing with these options a lot, but do not remember the changes that happen.
If you have access to Lexia, you may want to check the MFD options.
