Central display

I have the old type center display I can switch through the different ones, but when it comes to the screen showing fuel used/left and mileage. there is a three boxes in the middle going vertical , the top shows a "car", the next number "1" and the third "2".  It is stuck on number "1"  >
Anyone know how I can get it back on the "car" ?

On the old models you just press the button on the end of the stalk and it scrolls through the options.
