Blower not working
#1
My blower is not blowing on any speed.

I have replaced the relay in the passenger footwell and the resistor pack. No luck!

I have removed the blower motor and tested with 12v and it spun up just fine. I have checked the fuses and all seem to be okay.

Any ideas what to try next? Could the dial itself be faulty?

(23-10-2021, 03:50 PM)i would work back from fuse with meter checking for 12 volts . If you have replaced all that and the fan is ok is there anything other than the switch left, unless a bad connection some where. Wrote:  My blower is not blowing on any speed.

I have just had a similar issue fixed by an auto electrician.

I had power getting out of the relay but not to the blower motor and I had changed the resistor with no luck.

I had power getting to the main console and I could hear the AC click and light came on when I pushed the button to turn on etc.. but just no fan at all

There is another block connector between the relay and the resistor pack which in my case had melted internally. I think it was on the glovebox side of the dash but as I had the garage fix it I cannot be sure of the exact location. ( just checked the bill and the multi-plug at fault was on the glove box side)

I found it difficult to find a wiring diagram on the internet, hence I had to go to an auto electrician to find/fix the fault.

Part was £15 and 2 hours labour to diagnose and fix total £165.
