Dogs! How do you seat yours...?

Hello, glad to see that my newly purchased Berlingo is still there this morning. Now pondering the best place to sit the dog! cratch: In the micra he had a harness seatbelt on the front seat, which did look comical & i could keep an eye on him. However he's not going on the seats in this one!! There must be a myriad of places to seat a hound in there, i wondered what most people do.

Our labrador has an anti-slip mat in the boot and on top of that he has a vet-bed that I cut exactly to size,so he doesn't slide about and he is nice and warm too.

I think this will be the best place for him to go, or if the seats are down, his harness could be anchored to the back of the front seats maybe. i haven't had a good play with the seats yet as i bought it in the dark last night!:lol: (That sounded dodgy...I have seen the car at the dealers in the daytime)

Two in the boot space with mats on the floor and a Saunders dog guard attached to rear seat to stop them going walkabout around the car.

Our dog`s a wee bit destructive. And can be carsick. So we put her in the boot and shut the lid totally. Peace! But she wasn`t happy travelling so we raised half the rear shelf - and tied her lead to one of the metal loops on the floor.
She can now gob at the passing traffic and we only have the window to clean!

I have never seen " gob " written down before, fantastic and thank you , made me titter :thumbsup:
My accident prone chocolate lab has his basket chucked in the back of the hearse and he gladly follows on our regular trips to the repair shop

Trouble is , he is always so excited by the adventure , his panting fills the van with dog breath , Yak !

your HEARSE??

Our collie has two types of diabetes (injections and eyedrops twice daily) and has to go to the vets every week for bloodtests.
She hates travel but is happiest in the front footwell.
The Hearse (that MY hearse nil) has a foldup passenger seat which would give her even more room but she still curls up out of sight in the footwell.
