Car washings sends K9 crazy

When I washed it it sent the central locking system crazy! Lock, unlock, lights on, lock - over and over again.
What gives and how to stop it when washing it?

Maybe it just overjoyed!

Leave the fob farther away. All keyless go cars go nuts when you spray water on the handles.

Perhaps your Suzuki had a button for locking instead of the capacitive sensor?

It's only been 4 months since I traded it in for the K9 and already I can't remember if it did or not.
