The auto climate control has had a couple of issues, first one was sorted by the dealer where the digital climate control would go into a limp mode and default to windscreen demisting at full temp regardless of fan speed, temp setting on display and airflow position. apparently it’s a known fault so the dealer replaced it without question.
Roughly a year later the only position the air comes from is the windscreen. Asked the dealer to look at it during a service and they reported it would cost £930 plus £340 labour to replace the evaporator pipe. when pushed they changed the story to the arms had all seized in place.
it doesn’t look like they’ve even removed and panels to have a look. i’m sure i saw a an official repair moved for the berlingo partner heater blender flap controls but i can’t fnd it. can anyone help with a link please?
also i’ve had the paint on the boot lo seam falling off, to which the dealer said i should have just let is rust until they’d seen it rather than try to protect the metal. i really struggle to get time to take the car to the dealers so i treated it myself. because i did, they won’t look at it. not a big issue, it’s hidden but just a bit pissed at the total ignorance of what seems to be a common issue.
anyway, the main issue is the heater mod. please help, it’s driving me crazy!
