Hi all,
I know the M59 model is fairly cheap, but the rattle is unbelievable. It is just driving me crazy and I took the matter in my own hands and sound deadened the door + applied an anti rattle felt tape where the plastic was banging on plastic/metal from the door trim. The reult is a complete silence, at least from that door. If you want to see how you can remove rattle from the rear doors on the M59 model, here is my successful attempt: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4-s6Y2Z1Cc
Now only the front doors are left to be done.

Interesting solution, thanks for posting.
On my first Berlingo M59 the Modutop panels squeaked as they rubbed together, I took it apart and rebuilt it with silicone sealer in the joints. With my Pug Expert the door skins clanged against some stiffening rails inside, I used some rubber floor protectors between the skin & the rail which fixed the rear sliding doors, but the front passenger door is still a bit noisy.

If I ever get time and space I want to try dynamatting the car and sorting out the modutop. I have really come to like the Berlingo but it's so rattly it makes me laugh.
The scary overhead CD holder that blocks the rear view mirror when in use seems to make less noise when it's full of CDs. I am slightly concerned that ABBA Gold is going to rain down on my head if I go over a pothole, but having it full does seem to help.
Whenever I go over a cattle grid, something new starts to make a noise. Sometimes going over a speed bump will cause the blowers to come on. We quite often play Berlingo Bingo: Guess the rattle

The rattle really drives me crazy, especially on long motorway journeys and suddenly something new starts rattling over a bump somewhere.
I have applied additional noico 80 around the wheel arches and the generic noise/tyre rumble is considerably less. I felt taped the whole dashboard and MFD and these are pretty good now.
The dynamat seems similar to the noico 80 and I had to think about the price difference. I have to do the front doors as they are pretty noise and rattling.

And there was me thinking it's just me that gets wound up by squeaks & rattles ............
The really good thing about these cars is that they depreciate so quickly that it's more cost effective and satisfying to fix the problems than buy a VW.

Hahaha, I am what one could call a "hypohondriac" with respect to car noises.
There was this noise that was coming from the heating fan of my M59, really low power squeaky high frequency noise when the fan was at position 1. My better half thought I was imagining that noise because she could not hear it at all. Then we decided to test our hearing with some mp3s online with different frequencies. It turned out that I can hear ~1kHz more than her and that noise was about there.
I replaced that fan eventually, it was driving me mad.

There's also a couple of small bolts in the lower door structure, hiding behind the inner trim.
I've had this with my first van and two friends suffered the same with theirs.
They "apparently", according to a dealer, are not always tightened correctly during manufacture. The rattle makes itself known when you close the door and at other times.
It's a pain, but once you remove the door card, you can feel for them and, in my case, two were loose!
A quick tighten up and the door closed without the rattling.
Only hope the same assembly person wasn't responsible for the suspension bolts
Good judgement comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgement…
