Hello!

I have just downloaded the NAV Map updates and Vehicle touch screen updates to the USB stick, but when I click on the button for the User Guide it directs to a dead end.

Does anyone have a copy of the installation instructions, please?

Many thanks!

Maybe I don't fully understand your problem but I have a windows app on computer desktop which when I click leads me through the steps of downloading the files, adding to the USB stick and finally loading to the car.

PS, the loading to the car stage will take 40min to 1 hour WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING depending on how many regions of the map you choose to down load, obvious tip is don't download any you aren't really going to use.

Hi Matt!

Thanks for this.

I should have been more clear.

I have actually downloaded the updates via the Windows app and now have the files on the USB stick ready to use.

However, when I went to click for the last link to the instructions of what to do with the USB stick in the car, I got a dead end.

I've worked out from the other threads that I should have the engine running and it's best not to be driving.

Do I have to follow a particular sequence - e.g. insert USB before starting the engine?

I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the pdf instruction sheet that I was unable to download...

Best wishes,

Lawrence

Not pdf instructions but a thread from here on the Berlingo Forum where the update process is described (as well as attendant problems) https://www.berlingoforum.com/thread-21393.html

So you have to sit with the engine running for 40-60 minutes without driving?,  that's a poorly thought out system isn't it.

I guess they don't mention that part when they quote the fuel consumption figures of the vehicle.   Rolleyes  Dodgy
