Hi, Folks
new to the forum, have bought a scrap 2007 1.6 HDi van which appears not to have ABS, but has a good rear axle to swap over onto my 2006 1.9D van, which has ABS but a snapped torsion bar.
Is there any difference between the rear brake set up, or is it a straight swap?
TIA

There shouldn't be any difference if they are both disc which I think they should be.

A lot of the M59's used rear drums with their ABS system, I think disc were only used if the vehicle had ABS & ESP (Electronic Stability Programme)
If it is on drums it should just be a case of swapping the drums from the old (original) axle to the new axle, as I believe the axles are all the same.
