#1
My mates van failed mot on the clutch control assembly, it stated the anti slip provision is missing, can anybody point me in the right direction as to what exactly that is?
Cheers

... is it just the clutch pedal rubber missing ??? might just be something silly ...

as said above I'd ask the MOT garage what the failure means.

^ yep, sounds like a long winded way of saying the pedal rubber is missing!

Yes, it is a failure if the rubber is completely missing, but any amount of the non-slip material left will be classed as a pass, maybe an advisory. That is how I read the guidance for the non slip material on the pedals.
Buy one of these cover thingies and put it on top.

I completely agree with geoff.
I was living at a different place and the MOT station there were failing the car every other year, including an advisory for the tray underneath the passenger's seat. According to them it was obstructing vital components. The manufacturer put it there!

I now go at a different place and have not had a single thing since.
