Flashing orange light
#1
Hi,  I have just bought a 2020 Berlingo but I am worried as occasionally there is a flashing orange light at the bottom right of the rev counter.  It happens too fast for me to read the symbol.  Can anyone help?  Thanks

Is that the lane departure warning light? Does it happen when the steering pulls a little?
If it is, you can switch it off. If you do, the light will stay on all the time and then you can see if it is the one you mean.

It could be the change up a gear advice?

This sounds like the lane departure warning which flashes if you stray too close to or cross over the white lines. If you press the button below the headlight height adjuster to the right of the steering wheel you can deactivate it. It will automatically reactivate upon restart though. I find it a total pain in the arse if im honest. If you are on a road with narrow lanes it goes almost constant.

Yes, it does pull a little.  Many thanks for that.

Yes. It is a pain in the arse.  Thanks for your reply.  I will do as you suggest.

You can also turn it off in the car settings menu - its great at night but a real pain where for example there is road work and it picks up the old lane markings!

Not sure it should be a problem at road works as it should only operate above 40mph.

"You can also turn it off in the car settings menu."
Never seen that setting in mine. Not saying it's not there, just never come across it.
I also think it's difficult to live with if activated all the time. My start up procedure involves immediately switching it off.

Some models have a button, some have a menu entry.
