Flashy Berlingo

At night I noticed when I unlock the car and open the door the interior lights come as usual but the overhead "wing" lighting comes on bright momentarily and then dim, I think it's also called ambiance lighting.  The head unit also seems to flash briefly. I don't think a message is displayed.

Everything seems to function normally once started and the wing flash doesn't happen upon leaving the car with engine off, although the head unit display does remain lit for a few seconds sometimes showing the map display or the Citroen "Depress clutch etc.." message.

Is this normal or is this a fault?
