Can I use a heated wing mirror on a non heated wing mirror van?
#1
Hi, I have a Citroen Berlingo enterprise 100. I had my wing mirror smashed off today and need a new one. All I can find online is ones with the heated function. I was wondering if they will still fit to my no heated van or if I have to get one with no heater function on it?

Thanks lee

I dont think there will be a lot of difference between the heated mirror and non heated. There will be heating elements on the glass and extra wires but I think that will be all , the fitting should be the same.

Someone else may know better

IIRC, the difference is that there are simply 2 spade connectors on the heated version vs the non heated version.

Will it be fine to just leave the heater connect unconnected then? Thanks a lot

Yes, the heating function is controlled within the cab, not within the housing. IIRC the only wires going into the housing are for the element- so if there are no wires you cant connect them.
