AC / Dash vent pipe

Evening all, just another question if anyone has any knowledge that could help? 

I’ve been thinking this for a while but never got round to it. I have 2 dogs in a cage in the back of my berlingo van. I have a bulkhead with cut out so the air flows and a roof vent to extract the air (flettner) however I’m wondering how difficult it would be to extend the air con to the rear of the van.

In my head I’m thinking there are pipes behind the dash that lead to the dash vents, if I could disconnect one and add a length of pipe same diameter and run it through the cage in the rear, for a nice cold air flow.

Anyone know anything about the dash vents, pipes and how they run ?? Any help would be appreciated

If you have a roof vent in the rear you are defeating the object of having air conditioning which works on the principle of the space being reasonably well sealed otherwise you are trying to air condition the planet.

Forgot to add the pipe would go into the cage to cool the dogs whilst in travel. The vent would remove the air while stationary and the build up if hot air while moving. If that makes sense
