Replacing Battery
#1
I will be replacing the battery on my 2010 Multispace 90 HP Diesel.

Can I just remove old battery, fit new battery and start it up or is there a procedure I need to follow? Do I need any code numbers or will I need to have codes reset?
Thanks

I think that so long as you leave the bonnet open with keys out & doors closed for about 5 minutes so all the systems are shut down, before disconnecting the old battery, you should be fine. In case you've not already got a new battery, I've found Tayna to be the best & cheapest, you just need to look down through the listings as they put their preferred items at the top of the list & you can't sort on price.

Might you need the radio code?

Assuming an original radio, it's coded to the VIN and will be ok.

Thanks for your responses. I purchased from Tanya and rightly or wrongly chose a 78ah battery rather than a 70ah. I think the CCA figure was higher too.

A battery with higher AH and CCA figures is only going to be a bonus.
