Calibrating new EGR??

Hi everyone.

Berlingo Multispace B9, 2008, 1.6HDi, 90hp 66kw, 220.000km

I will change my faulty EGR valve with a new one in a couple of days.
Do I need to calibrate the new EGR after installing it?
If yes, how can I do it?

Are there any other things that I should be aware of when doing this operation?

Yes, you should recalibrate it through Diagbox/Lexia. It is pretty straight forward and the software will guide you through the procedure, it is mainly switching the ignition on and off a few times. Mine is a Pug Partner (1.6HDi 2007), so could not quite comment where in the Lexia menu is the EGR recalibration.
