Are paddle shifts an optional extra or do all vehicles post 2019 come with them?

Not too sure but our four units with all different trim levels (Live, Feel, Shine and XTR) all are equipped with paddles.

I can confirm my auto has paddle shift too if i wish to use it in manual mode - the paddles will also work in auto but the vehicle would then take you back to the gear it thinks it should be in after a little while

Auto mode paddles are useful when passing: you kickdown two gears and gun it.
