[Warning Light] What is this on the dash?

I get this on the dash every time I start her up but I have no idea what it means, please put me out of my misery of three years!

It's the oil level indicator, it's showing full.

If it was half full it would look like this... o o o - - -


You should check your oil level periodically with the dip stick, don't just rely on the dash indicator.

Someone with an M59 can confirm (or not), but isn't it just showing the oil level?
