On 17 December 2019 (i.e. 2 years ago today) I jotted down the number of older Berlingos and Partners still on UK roads according to the website carlogbook.co.uk. There are a few websites that have this kind of info - the carlogbook one gives numbers of vehicles based on current valid MOTs. It updates at least every day. I can't vouch for it being completely accurate, though the other service it provides (MOT histories based on registration number) is accurate for my own M49. The figures below show the difference in vehicle numbers between 2 years ago and today, and the percentage that have survived over the period. (I didn't make a note of the numbers a year ago, as Covid affected MOTs in a big way). No distinction is made between vans and MPVs.

I don't know why I didn't note the numbers of 2003 and 2004 Partners that had MOTs 2 years ago - maybe just a Berlingo bias cos that's what both mine are.
For future reference (and in the unlikely case anyone apart from me is interested, lol), the current numbers of more recent vehicles (up to 2010) are:

Here are this year's updated numbers on the numbers of Berlingos and Partners currently on the roads (i.e. with an MOT) in the UK, according to the same source as last time, together with the survival rate over the last year (well, actually one year and one day - I got the date wrong in my head, not that it makes much difference).
I've made some 'new entries' this year to cover up to 2012 i.e. ten years ago.

So another year has gone by, and here are this year's figures for the numbers of older Berlingos and Partners currently MOT'd on UK roads, with comparison to last year and the survival rate calculated. Two things came to my attention this time: first, the survival rate of Partners is slightly lower than that of Berlingos - not sure why that should be - and second, the survival rate of both Berlingos and Partners is slightly lower than last year - I'm thinking maybe the ULEZ scrappage scheme has had an effect?

Here's the annual update on the number of older Berlingos and Partners that currently have an MOT. A bigger percentage have gone off the roads this year, presumably an ongoing effect of ULEZ, though unlike last year there isn't much difference between how Berlingos have fared compared to Partners.

Oh I think maybe I contributed 1 of the nearly 1 thousand 2011 partners without MOT. I was back for approximately half a year during the gap between my former degree, and I sorned my van during that time because I don't want to waste money to come here once in the summer just for the MOT. Now it's back to the road and runs perfectly. So next year there will be 1 more 2011 partners with MOT lol.

Statistics predict there will be one '96 plate celebrating its 30th birthday.
That would be quite an achievement.
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top
