Wheel arch liners removal
#1
Basically I lost the cap that goes over the rear of the headlamp unit down the nearside/left wing. Are the liners easy to remove? Anyone know how much those caps are from Citroen? I might just buy a another one

This must be the only vehicle I've owned where an oil change I could do blind-folded, took about 20 minutes including tidy up, but changing the headlight lamps is one of those jobs where you think "Wish I hadn't bothered!"

It just sort of slipped out of my hand as I hadn't removed the air intake pipe that goes from airbox to radiator! :brickwall:

The more I tried to reach it the more I pushed it into a slot and out of reach :lol:Bastard thing

Still, nice fresh oil and filter, and no need to get the ramps out! :woop:

Can't you get one of those flexible claw type thingies cheaply, good for getting into nooks and crannies and retreiving stuff...

Well that MUCH easier than I thought it would be! A bit fiddly, but easy enough.

Only reason I'm bumping is just to say there was a huge amount of crud behind the passenger side liner, trapped between the inner and outer wing near the door. It was soaking wet, and a definite rust trap even on a galvanised vehicle!

Didn't realise that the Berlingo had a galvanised chassis ???

Oh doesn't it? I've never seen a rusty Citreon or Peugeot so just assumed they were Big Grin

All the more reason to get the mud out of there!
