Hi guys. I've got a 2012 1.6i Berlingo. I've had it 2 years now and replaced the oil filter about 4 times. Everything the same issue. After about 5000km it starts leaking at the filter housing cap(plastic part) it's not cracked. Some say it's the breather valve that is blocked. If so...where is the valve? Or could it be something else? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum.
Sorry if these are daft questions.
Is it a 1.6 Diesel?
Has the O-Ring around the cap been replaced along with the filter?

Not sure if it is like mine, a big black plastic housing with 'o' ring on outside?
If so, you must not overtighten the housing, it can distort.
The seal does not rely on the tightness of the housing as the 'o' ring slides in the outer casing and is not compressed by tightening.
