Three Beeps/Tunes when getting out of vehicle

Hello, 

When i take the key out of the ignition i get three beeps/tunes. This only happens when the key is taken out of the ignition. Has anyone experienced this before or know what the cause is?

Mine does it too, and it also does it when I turn the ign on.
The only fault I currently have is that the speedo and mileometer are not working (local mech could not find the fault so I must travel to a Citroen specialist some time).
I assumed the beeps were to do with that, but don't know for sure.

Just to check we're on the same page, and for others' benefit, my beeps are exactly the same as the seven (?) beeps you get if you take the key out with your lights still on.

Hello. This happens when you take the key out even with the door still shut. The lights beep when the door is open. The beep is slightly different to the lights beeping.
