As the current "newest member" I thought an introduction appropriate.
I am retired, live in Manchester UK, have been running a Partner Origin (oldish shape) for a few years as a works van.
Now that I don't have a works, and am about to be charged £11 per day for the privilege of driving a van albeit private use only, I am about to sell the van and have already replaced it with a 2013 Partner Tepee Outdoor.
It is currently in my man cave as I replace a broken front coil spring; while it is in there I am going to fit a towbar.
My life revolves around Riley cars; my business was repairing and selling spares for the RM series 1945-1955.
My current resident Fun Prevention Officer has decreed that as the first new vehicle that we have owned for many a year, the Tepee is to be preserved in good condition; I therefore seek a Morris Minor van/ Standard Companion/ A40 Countryman or something of that ilk to use as a runabout. Apparently my very nice Jowett Javelin doesn't count as a vehicle. My current Riley RM is being repainted, or at least it will be when my man cave is completely finished and suitable for spraying.
That'll do for now. I may be advertising the Partner van very soon; presumably on here would be as good a place as any.
