Thought I would add my experience with this.
I purchased the Carlinkit from carlinkitcarplay: https://carlinkitcarplay.com/products/ca...ry-carplay
I have a 2016 Berlingo Multispace.
Installation wasn't terribly difficult. If you're good at cable management, it's easier to get everything stuffed back in, but there really is plenty of room behind the console, especially behind the AC panel.
The pro's:
I had all my phone crap on my screen. Messages, google maps, pandora, ect ect. There was a little bit of lag every time you first turn the dial to scroll through the icons, but not terrible. I'm guessing this may be down to the phone processing itself since it's doing all of it. Also, the first time or two I turned on the car, it seemed to connect pretty quickly and seamlessly.
The Cons:
The phone calls have an echo to whom I'm talking to. Someone in this forum posted settings to help eliminate the echo, but the person I had on the phone said there was still an echo and they could hear themselves.
