Hi
I've recently acquired a 2006 Citroen Berlingo 2006 1.9D 600 VAN, and it has an after market cut off switch that cuts power to the BSI module, when the switch is on the side lights stay on and central locking doesn't work and the dashboard lights up like a Christmas tree, if I do the BSI reset normal service is resumed as in everything works as it should, central locking no crazy dash lights and the side lights stay off. When I leave the car for approx 5 minutes locked with no keys, it automatically decides to turn the lights on, kill the central locking and light the dashboard up like a christmas tree (even with no keys in it) could this be the dreaded BSI module?
If it is the BSI module how do I remove it? I suspect it is as the cut off switch has been inserted in a large red cable that looks like it goes to the BSI module (drivers side inside the car).
Kind Regards
Aaron.
