#1
Can anyone recommend a good quality , reasonably priced trolly jack suitable for working on my '04 Berlingo - want to get the wheels off the ground to do brake pads etc ...

Machine Mart do a good range - this type is more stable - I have 1 of these, plus 2 others (!) , but do get a pair of axle stands just for the sake of safety.https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/ctj2l-2-tonne-long-diy-trolley-jack/

I've got one from either ALDI or LIDL for about £20.00 some years ago and its does what I want.
As long as you have axle stands to rest the body on when changing brakes etc, a cheap jack will do the job.

SGS do a 2 ton low profile jack for £30 + about £6 post here. The hydraulics swivel which is handy if you are in a garage or next to another vehicle.
So where does this bit go then ?

It might be worth considering buying some ice hockey puck type pads to save scrathing the jacking points .(Available from Flea Bay.)

Our local tyre shop uses pieces cut out of old lorry tyres as jacking pads  Cool Handy bit of recycling.
So where does this bit go then ?
