Hi could any user of this item make comments about its usefulness and does it affect headroom in any seat position.

I ordered an XTR specifically because it had the modutop.
No it doesn't affect seat headroom at all as far as I am aware, elder son is about 6'2" and has no problems at all in the car. However the current version's usefulness is nowhere near as good as the older version I had on my 2007 Desire, which had airline style overhead storage bins for both rear seats, each with a charging point - very useful on long journeys for charging the son's Gameboys.
Modern version has only an airline style storage bin in the boot - interior of which is also accessible via sliding doors from the rear seats.
The large glass sunroof is nicer than the clear strip panels in the old version though, and the sliding cover is a nice feature, although I don't use it that often, only if the sun is at an annoying angle in summer - or a seagull has annoyingly crapped on the roof - a constatnt hazard living in Dover.
Still pleased I have the modutop.

Thanks for the rapid reply, I've ordered the e berlingo xtr so guess it will be as you've stated having not seen one bit confused by its layout. This will be my 3rd bingo and 1 Nemo which was crap. The 1.4 diesel Nemo was less economical than 1.6petrol and fainted when it faced a hill. Once again thanks for the info re modutop
