We are about to switch from a Mk2 2004 2.0 HDi Desire as slowly its starting to show its age. However we are looking forward to a new Mk 3!

Any hints as to what to avoid from the extras list, planning on a diesel but unsure as to which or what to pay.

90 HP or 110?
VTR+ with Safety pack & ESP
or XTR with safety plus pack & Traction Control
How much in cash terms is the insurance differential ie 7e to 10e?
Any views?

Hi there , can't help you in any way with regards to bhp as I drive a 1.9d van 03 which does 0 to 60 in excess of a minute lol .
